Hunting trip in France...
accommodation & sightseeing

The hunts are meeting in France on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Visitors willing to spend a week's hunting will have the occasion of very attractive sightseeing. Our hunts in Normandy allow you to visit the D-Day warsites or the Mont Saint Michel. The hunts in the Sologne region are never far from one of the famous "châteaux de la Loire".  We can combine shooting on the riding "days off".

Chateau accommodation...

Staying at a nice place is the first step of a successful trip. We are not only offering nice looking accommodation but whenever it is possible, (most often) to lodge you at a place where the guests are helpful, welcoming and keen hunters.

Manor house to rent near Cheverny

A good base camp for a week of total immersion with a few friends

This manor is very nicely located in 15ha park in the vineyards near Cheverny. It has 6 double rooms and a few other rooms convenient for children, a huge kitchen, salon with fireplace and elegant dining room. It can be rented per week. It is particularly recommended for a party willing to combine a shooting experience with the visit of the main châteaux and maybe follow a stag hunt.

Country life & gastronomie...

The local bistro offers great food and Loire wines and... free wi-fi access !

Or this nice basket of "cèpes". Many of our guests like these autumn wild mushrooms

The region offers great "goat" cheese and wines of  Chinon, Bourgueil, Sancerre and many others....

The Loire Châteaux

The Loire châteaux are the jewels of the French renaissance. The "fashion" takes its origin in the Italian wars conducted by King François 1er. Leonardo da Vinci died here at the "Clos Lucé" in the arms François 1er and left many remarkable work. The castles of Chambord, Cheverny, Amboise, Chaumont, Chenonceau, Azay le Rideau and many others are visited by millions of tourists each summer. We offer to visit some of them in a much intimate atmosphere and with hunters eyes. Most of them were simply hunting residences of our kings and many of them still are actively linked with hunting activities (game reservations, kennels, hunting museums). The French game fair takes place each year in June at the château de Chambord. There is a very beautiful kennel and trophy room to visit at the château de Cheverny, and also heart touching hunting museums in Montpoupon and Gien.
